When your full time job is a professional realtor, you tend to pay very close attention to a variety of items that may influence the value of homes as well as the time period it takes to buy/sell a home.

Please don't forget that a married couple who have lived in their home for 2 of out of the last 5 years can avoid any taxes on the sale of their residence up to $500,000.
I encourage you to carefully evaluate what is likely your biggest investment. Only you and your family can determine if a change of course is prudent. Make sure you include your financial adviser, accountant, etc. as you decide what may be best.
